Please note that with effect from 1 January 2006, the requirements to apply for an audit licence are as follows: a) must be a Chartered Accountant of MIA. b) possess three (3) years of continuous relevant and sufficient audit experience attained after the applicant has been admitted as a member of MIA, and if you are no longer in the audit field, the 3 years continuous audit experience should be gained in the time period of four (4) years before submission of the application. c) have attended the Public Practice Programme organised by the Institute prior to the submission of the application. d) hold a valid practising certificate issued by the Institute prior to the submission of the application.
