A candidate can apply for a post only in response to an Employment Notification. Railway Recruitment Board issues Employment Notifications periodically for various posts required to be filled by the Railways. These notifications are invariably published in the ‘Employment News’, national, local and vernacular dailies, apart from being displayed on the website of the Railway Recruitment Board, Secunderabad. Normally a month’s time is given for candidates to apply for posts for which they possess the required qualifications.
