How can I adjust text fields that were placed correctly in the score under Windows 98, but have now shifted under Windows 2000/XP?
This problem is not caused by capella but by the modified font handling under Windows 2000/XP compared to Windows 98/ME. This behavior can be adjusted through re-calibration. Windows sets the size of text fields independent of the gap between staff lines. But unfortunately, Windows resizes the text itself if you modify the settings at control panel | display | settings | advanced | dpi setting. To counteract this distortion, you can calibrate the size of text as follows: Open the file “calibrate.cap” located in your capella program folder and follow the instructions appearing on your screen.
