How can I add sound to previously captured still images?

0

To add sound to a previously captured still image, first turn the mode dial to the Playback icon (green arrow). Use the arrow pad to select the image to which you wish to add audio, and then press the MENU button. CAMERA MENU will be selected by default; press the OK/FUNC button to access the Camera menu. Use the Up or Down arrows on the pad to navigate to the microphone icon, and then press the Right arrow to advance to the next screen. Use the Up or Down arrow to select YES. The camera will then record four seconds of sound and embed the audio information into the selected file. An icon of a green musical note will accompany images with embedded audio when those files are displayed on the LCD monitor. Sound may be recorded and re-recorded into any still image; however, it is not possible to edit the audio associated with a movie file.
