You would need to reconfigure your computer to share the complete hard disk (if the operating system allows you to do that) but this requires that you can see what’s going on on the screen. Since the screen is broken, there’s a little bit of a problem — but maybe this problem can be circumvented: Most laptops have a VGA port for connecting an external monitor (e.g for connecting a projector in business presentations). If such a port exists, connect a monitor and check in the owner’s manual what function keys enable it, then configure the network and hard disk for sharing. 2. If you can’t get the computer to share the hard disk as described above, I suggest you either buy a USB enclosure for the hard disk and use it as external drive (check eBay for pricing — make sure you get the correct interface for 2″, 2.5″ or 3.5″ dri
