How can I access Command Line Interface through its console port?

A. Connect your PC to the routers RS-232 port (using a supplied null modem cable) and invoke a PC terminal emulation program (such as Hyper Terminal) and set its parameter parameters to be 19200, 8, None, 1, None. Then hit a few carriage return from your PC keyboard until you see login prompt from the screen (coming from the router). If you can communicate with the router through its RS-232 port but previously not through the routers LAN port, the LAN port may not be properly connected or the TCP/IP was not properly installed in your PC.
