How can hospitals submit information for review of short weekend admissions?
For admissions involving short stays (three days or less), hospitals may submit review requests within seven days of discharge. Requests may be submitted online 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, or by calling the toll-free certification line at (800) 418-4033, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, except for designated Federal and State holidays.
