How can grow onions?

go to a garden store and buy either onion plants or starter bulbs, make sure you get the right kind for your area and growing season when they start growing pluck out every other plant (eat as green onions) this allows the bulbs more room to grow, when the greens get heavy snip them in half this lets all the nutrients go to the bulb instead of the tops, make sure if the go to seed on top you snip that off, then as you start to see the bulbs come out of the ground pick them lay them out flat to dry, then use netting or old panty hose (clean) put onion in twist add another, etc. you get the idea, then hag them in the basement or garage and you should have onions nearly through the winter, of course some will rot but just remove it so it doesn’t go to the others.
