How can email loops be prevented?
1. Dealers should never set their pager, email client, etc. to “auto-respond” to new emails because when Lead Manager sends “alerts” to the pager, email client, etc., the response is sent back to Lead Manager which then sends an alert to the pager or email and the process (or loop) continues. 2. Dealers should ensure the address that they send their Lead Manager Alerts to is valid. If the address if invalid, or their email client box is full, then the Dealer’s ISP will strip critical information out of the lead when the ISP bounces the alert back to Lead Manager, and a loop will occur.
