How can dimmer switches and motion sensors help save the environment and save me money?
Dimmer switches and motion sensors will reduce your electrical usage but it’s probably not the best option because even though a dimmer switch will reduce the electricity going to a light, a better option is to replace that light bulb with one that uses less energy overall. A motion sensor may turn on a light and leave it on even after you leave the room, so a better option might even be just to turn the light on and off immediately as you need it.
