How can deodorant stains on fabric be prevented or removed?

To prevent deodorant staining fabric, the product must be fully absorbed or dry before putting on clothes – otherwise it is possible that some components of the deodorant will be absorbed by the fabric of the clothing and deposits will occur.White stains can be removed from non dry clean clothing by soaking the item of clothing in clear water and then washing it with a normal phosphate-free detergent. In case of persistent stains we recommend this special procedure: Prepare a mixture of 5% citric acid (available from your local pharmacy) in cold tap water. Soak the stained area with the mixture and leave for several hours (or over night). After rinsing thoroughly, wash the clothing using the wash cycle recommended for the fabric.
