This is our favorite way to fix salmon on the grill. 2 tsp snipped fresh dill or 3/4 tsp dill weed 1/2 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning 1/2 tsp salt, optional 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 salmon fillet (1-1 1/2 #s) 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 3 tbsp chicken broth 3 tbsp vegetable oil 3 tbsp soy sauce 3 tbsp finely chopped green onions 1 small lemon, thinly sliced 2 onion slices, separated into rings Sprinkle dill, lemon-pepper, salt if desired & garlic powder over salmon. Place in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow glass container. Combine the br sugar, broth, oil, soy sauce & green onions; pour over the salmon. Seal bag or cover & refrigerate for 1 hour, turning once. Drain & discard marinade. Place salmon skin side down on grill over medium heat; arrange lemon slices & onion rings over top, Cover & cook for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork We place ours on a grill pan with tiny holes in used for grilling veggies & it works good so the fish doesn’t fall into the coals.
