How Can Constuction Methods be Green?
We use a CNC router table to cut and mill many of our components. This cuts down on waste and electric use, and means in the long run we can use less wood and energy to build the same cabinets. We also separate our dust and chips from milling operations, and the dust is given to landscapers to mix with topsoil and the chips to neighbors to be used as mulch. This reduces our landfilled materials by close to 200 50# bags per year and improves the water holding abilities of the soil.
