How can computor based training be better than that put on by a trainer in a classroom?
Although people may learn information that they are then to convey to others in a classroom setting, it is a stretch to believe that all trainers can deliver information in an efficient fashion. Web based training that is voiced over, interactive, and self paced delivers much higher levels of knowledge retention. Given the choice, especially when the topics are WHMIS, TDG, Back Safety, … most people will select web based training. The ability to repeat any screen as often as is required to not only understand, but to see how it effects them, helps even those who are recent arrivals to a country, pass tests related to the material.
