This shows only that the name of Christ had prestige which all sorts of people tried to borrow. Nowadays, whenever politicians want to start a war, they often say they’re doing it “for world peace.” Does that mean “peace” is a dishonorable cause? • Are there any prominent scientists who are Christians? Plenty. Some that come to mind are D. E. Knuth, computer scientist, Stanford University; John Polkinghorne, quantum physicist, Cambridge University; Owen Gingerich, astronomer, Harvard; and H. F.
