How can chess be played by teams?
Each school brings a team of players, but the players do not help each other during their games. However, each player who wins or draws a game potentially (see next question) earns points for his team. At the end of the tournament, the team with the highest score is the winner, the second highest scoring team is second, and so on. If you’re familiar with Track and Field meets, the concept is very similar.
