Work by The McComb Foundation and Avita Medical has aimed to significantly reduce the time to treatment. Avita Medical’sproprietary culturing processes enable the rapid culture of viable cells within a matter of days. This unique technology has resulted in the delivery of large numbers of viable pre-confluent keratinocytes (at least 1:500) that are produced from a small, partial thickness biopsy in as few as 5 days from donor site biopsy processing. Avita Medical has delivered cells across the globe to successfully treat large injuries.
