How Can CALAXO Screws Lead to Injuries?
CALAXO screws don’t always work as intended. Instead of absorbing into the body without complication, CALAXO screws often lead to serious and painful side effects during the recovery process following ligament reconstruction knee surgery. Some patients developed pre-tibial soft tissue swelling after their ACL surgical procedure, meaning that the tissue above the shin was adversely affected. CALAXO screws have also fragmented before their absorption time, requiring additional surgery to stabilize the knee area. In some cases. infection or other infection-like complications have arisen as a result of CALAXO screw malfunction.
