How can blood donations camp be organized?
A list of the voluntary donors consisting of at least 10 or more members should be made and you may contact a blood bank for blood donation camp. You have to arrange for 4 neat & clean space having sufficient light and air. Arrange for 4 beds and refreshments for donors. Alternatively, beds and refreshments can be arranged by the blood bank also. All other arrangements will be made by the blood bank. Blood donors are given donor’s card which enables them to collect one unit of blood of the required group from the blood bank in the lieu of donor’s card within the period of one year for any of his relative/friend/well wisher subject to the availability of the blood in the blood bank.
