How can Bill Belichick be so stinkin good?
1. He has good players. 2. He has good assistants. 3. He is very disciplined. 4. He makes agressive play calling. (Example: He’ll go for it on 4th and 1 when it makes sense to.) This is what I probably like about Bill Bellichick the most. He plays the game out in his head like a chess player. Some coaches when they really need the 7 points at the end of the game and they are at 4th and 3 on the 10 yard line will go for the field goal and hope to get a 3 and out and get the ball back. Belichick will go for it on 4th and 3 and about 2/3’s of the time he’ll get it and will continue on to get a touchdown instead of a field goal. If he doesn’t get it, the other team is backed up behind the 10 yard line, making it that much harder to not go 3 and out and giving Belichick a short field to make another run at a touchdown. I like that aggressive style. But he’s aggressive to a point. He’s doesn’t cross that fine line of being overly agressive and just playing too agressive and stupidly. Pete Ca
