How can BAse TEn afford to give its software for free?
Well, in fact we could not afford to give you our software products for free and continue to develop them into the “WorldClass” products they are if not for the revenues from our support contracts and other professional services. So essentially, we have decided to forgo 1,000s of dollars in sales per customer in order to reach a wider range of businesses who will ultimately benefit from our “Best of breed” software. In the long term, this symbiotic arrangement will in fact result in sales allowing us to continue maintaining our products to the “Bes of breed” status while freely distributing them and only charging for support.
