How can ANYONE condone Halal meat?
The Halal method of killing is no better or worse than non Halal methods. If you feel so strongly about the halal method then you have to question the non halal methods as well. There is no “advantage” it is part of the muslim faith that they eat meat which has been killed in this way, if it isn’t killed in the halal way Muslims cant eat it. I have seen animals killed by Halal and non Halal methods – neither is pretty and trust me if you think one method is more humane than the other you are wrong. Because i am an omnivore, i accept that animals will be killed to provide me with my food. I want the food that i eat to have been reared properly and with respect throughout its life, whether its a carrot or a cow. I respect the opinions of vegetarians who feel it is cruel to kill animals, i wish there was a way of eating meat that didn’t involve killing an animal. But I do find it hypocritical of people who bleat about the way an animal is killed whilst eating their FLAMEGRILLEDMcKENTUCKIN
