How can an office worker get an on-site survey?
The IAQ Program conducts surveys at public office buildings upon the written request of management personnel. There is no cost for this survey. Employees of private businesses are encouraged to discuss problems regarding air quality with office management. In Texas, the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation works with private employers to investigate such problems. The TWCC may be contacted at 1-800-578-4677 (in Texas) or (512) 463-6169. Private sector employees may also contact an area Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) office to lodge complaints regarding indoor air quality (1-800-321-6742).
