How can an instructor customize the scope of the exam?
Instructors can increase the scope of the exam by adding their own distinctive categories to the National Exam. Instructors can do this by creating a Specialized Comparative Exam (SCE – an exam which adds an instructor’s own questions to the national exam). Instructors cannot decrease the scope of the beginning Greek exam, but can create custom exams that only cover their desired grammatical scope. This completely free quizzing mechanism is one of the primary incentives that the project offers to instructors to contribute their own questions to the project. These contributions to the exam are necessary to ensure the exam isn’t limited to questions generated by only a few instructors. Instructors can share (send and receive) question sets from other instructors for use on their custom quizzes and SCE’s.
