How can an applicant obtain an approved indirect cost rate?
If you do not have an indirect cost rate agreement, you should apply a reasonable rate for the purposes of budgeting your proposed project. If you are awarded a grant, you would then apply for an indirect cost rate and we would apply that new rate to the direct costs associated with the project.
