How can additional customised attributes/dimensions be associated with facts reported using XBRL?
Additional customised contextual information (what may be thought of as customised attributes or dimensions required to interpret facts reported using XBRL) can be provided using either the segment context element or the scenario context element. The segment context element should be used if the additional contextual information fleshes out the nature of the entity to which the fact pertains. The scenario context element should be used if the additional contextual information fleshes out the situation under which the fact pertains to the reporting entity.
