How can a well rounded versatile hunting dog (vhd) best be achieved?
The best way is one that works for you, as many owners as we have pups workin throughout this country & one in Denmark, I have come to realize there are as many ways to train a versatile hunting dog as there are countries, or continents for that matter. The best way though I feel is the’ natural way’, where you ‘stay’ out of the way when you expose your pup to the basic elements of guns, water, field, and tracking. As this takes place you are there- but you must try not to be there – to detrimentally influences your prospect’s abilities to experience itself in becoming a versatile hunting dog.
