How can a student hide their listing in the SFU Directory (and therefore not appear in the GAL)?

Log into mySFU to change your access control, and then select Account Management on the left. Click on Modify your Directory Entry and then select Edit My Entry on the top right. Choose one of the three options in the Access Control drop down. Choosing Allow SFU admin staff only is the most secure option — this will hide you from the general public. When you are done, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom. Please note that staff employment at SFU is a matter of public record, hence this feature is for students only.
