How can a service provider, such as a bank or insurance company, obtain information about the national laws and regulations and conditions of market access of another country?
Each WTO member has the obligation to publish all laws, regulations or administrative guidelines relating to its services industries in the relevant media, especially the official gazette of the country. In addition, specific information can be obtained by private companies through their home government and from enquiry points which WTO countries have set up. In some countries, the enquiry points will also supply (on a voluntary basis) information directly to private traders.
