The Bonzaiboard and Bonzai Buster use a ground engaging brake that can be applied to limit the speed and to stop as shown in the Demo video! The brake application is intuitive and easy to use. While standing the rider will press the foot pedal, located in the middle of the deck, until the brake contacts the ground. The more weight applied to the foot pedal the higher the brake force. While sitting the rider will lower the steering handle between their knees until the brake contacts the ground. The lower the handle the higher the brake force. The speed can be controlled by continuously dragging the brake or by periodically applying the brake. It is an easy technique to master!
