How can a REZAP FaultMaster help me find permanent faults?
The REZAP FaultMaster has a fault thump mode that allows 20% extra energy to flow before isolating a faulted circuit. This can help in creating a louder thump at the fault location to aid finding it. A phase-phase disable mode ensures the REZAP FaultMaster will stop auto-reclosing when a phase-phase permanent fault condition forms. This ensures that the phase-phase condition is not cleared before it can be used to locate the fault using acoustic methods. The REZAP Phone Controller allows an engineer working on site to control the REZAP FaultMaster device while standing in the vicinity of the suspected fault location. This replaces the old Radio Controller, and will always be available so long as the engineer is carrying his mobile phone.
