A small number of non-rights holding radio and/or television broadcast journalists will receive accreditation in the “ENR” press category in order to cover the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games as a news event. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is directly responsible for the allocation of all ENR accreditations, which are not included in each National Olympic Committee’s quota. More information about the application process and the news access rules are available at www.olympic.org. The deadline to apply for ENR accreditation was November 30, 2008. Press with an ENR credential will have access to the Main Press Centre (MPC). At the competition venues, ENRs will have access to venue media centres, press tribunes and mixed zones but may not bring in any camera equipment, recording devices or other technical equipment.
