How can a provider verify a patient’s eligibility prior to rendering the service?
Any provider enrolled with the department can use the MEDI IEC Internet site to verify a participant’s eligibility for medical assistance. Providers cannot perform participant eligibility inquiries without first completing the registration process. To register to use the MEDI Internet site, providers must go to the MEDI IEC Web site. Recipient Eligibility Verification (REV) Vendors offer recipient eligibility. For more information on REV vendors, use this link to view the REV vendor information.
