How can a potentially harmful drug win FDA approval?

0

You know, there’s an argument that is often raised as to what the heck the FDA is doing. Here they have all these drugs, Vioxx, Reslin, Byetta, Ortho Novolin, all of which were approved by the FDA, and now all of which are unapproved by the FDA. Had they done the proper testing of those drugs, before they started selling them, they would have saved people an awful lot of heatache, an awful lot of damage. My name is Tom Girardi. I’m the senior partner of Girardi/Keese. For the past 44 years, we have helped people in California who have been seriously harmed. I’m very proud of the work we’ve done, and the role that we have played.
