Information pertaining to civil service (Permanent) appointment can be found in The Chief-leader newspaper and on the FDNY and City of New York websites: Log on to www.nyc.gov/fdny and search for ‘Exams Schedule & information about EMS. The Notice of Exam and required forms, i.e., application, Education and Experience test paper and Foreign Education Fact Sheet (if applicable) may also be downloaded. Carefully complete the required forms and mail them as directed in the notice of exam no later than the specified date.
