How can a Marathi student improve his English speaking?
From my personal experience, I found that this issue is related to our mindset than to our skill-set. Now what does that mean? Let me explain. I have observed over the years that we Marathi student are somewhat ok in our knowledge of English language. Our grammar is good, writing is good. What we feel we lack is speaking in English. Re-read the last sentences. I said what we FEEL – because it’s very true. It’s in our mind that we cannot speak English. It’s in our mind that we are NOT good at English speaking. And our mind is so powerful that what it believes – it tries to prove. And in our case – it proves that we are not good at English speaking. So we accept that & live with that misconception that our English speaking is not good, it’s not like other people. Do you really want to improve your English speaking?
