How can a male by female clothes without drawing alot of attention to himself?
Just call first and find a store that will let you try on women’s clothes, maybe after hours, or just go up to a sales lady and tell you your a cross dresser and want to try on some clothes and not be embarrassed, can she find a special dressing room for you to try on the women’s clothes. If she is really helpful she could measure you for proper hip and dress size and blouse size. I am sure cross dressers and trans-gender M_F do the same thing. I like to wear nail polish on my toes so I called a place Sephora and they told me I could try on the polish at the display booth if I liked because they have nail polish samplers and nail polish remover and cotton pads.
Make it a point to ask the shop employees what’s in style for women right now (men are more likely to be clueless about these things), tell them you’re shopping for a girlfriend or a sister– describe them as a little bigger since you’ll likely have a thicker body type than most women’s clothes. If you’re still getting weird looks from them, just laugh and say, “Yeah right, I’m -really- buying them for myself.” and roll your eyes. The more you joke and are calm about it, the less they’ll figure you’re buying it for yourself. Above all, don’t draw attention to yourself by being nervous. Go in there on a mission. You have a right to buy whatever you’d like. It’s easier to relax if you’re in a store that sells male and female clothing, since walking into a Victoria’s Secret might get you some looks on the get-go and cause you to be more obviously flustered.
