How can a developer truly password protect their solution with so many password removal programs out there?
The Developer Tool has a feature you can enable that irreversibly protects the structure of your database files. Once you enable it, it is designed to restrict anyone from accessing Define Fields, Define Relationships, ScriptMaker, and Access Privileges. Important! These areas are permanently locked away from you, as well as FileMaker. Once you enable this feature, neither you nor FileMaker can reverse it. It’s wise to save a copy of the original database(s) in case you ever need to modify the structure of the file.
