How can a community-based organization participate in partnership with a lead organization and still serve its own clientele plus meet the needs of the target population of the lead organization?
The best way would be for the partner to involve its youth as provides of technical support/training in service-learning or in project specific skills to the youth within the lead organization. Other approaches may be possible but the purpose of this grant must always be to serve suspended and expelled youth as defined in the RFP and FAQs, not just youth in alternate settings.
