How can a class count as credit and meet a degree requirement? Can it count twice?
A class can count once toward the accumulation of credits for degree or certificate, but in some instances (ex. Anthropology, see Student Planning Worksheet, it can also satisfy other college requirements. Using the example of Anthropology, the actual credit hours earned would be applied in the General Education category of Social and Behavioral Sciences but completion checks would also be placed as meeting the Additional Degree Requirements in Human Relations and Global/Multicultural Studies.
