How big will the “teacup” dogs be when they are full grown?

(back to top) Our “teacup” size dogs will be approximately 3 to 6 pounds when they are fully grown. Please note: “Teacup” is just a cute term that can be used to describe our dogs, it is not part of the AKC standard for Maltese or Yorkshire Terrier dogs. Generally speaking, all dogs in the Toy group are small. (According to the AKC standard for Maltese and Yorkshire Terriers, they are usually under 7 lbs.) Our dogs cannot be registered as “teacup” size.
