During this time, you may experience symptoms like fatigue and breast tenderness, due to normal hormone changes that occur at the time of ovulation. When you are 3 weeks pregnant, you are now pregnant — meaning that an egg has been fertilized and is implanted in your womb (uterus). You may have multiple eggs fertilized at once, or an egg may divide, resulting in twins or triplets. At this stage of pregnancy, it is vital that you get enough calcium, iron, and folic acid to prevent birth defects.
