How big is Singapore?
Singapore has regularly conducted extensive land reclamation, so the figure is likely to increase. The reclamation has meant the ‘Beach Road’ is no longer anywhere near the sea. In fact, the famous Raffles Hotel was by the sea and is now a significant distance from a sea coast. Google Earth it and see for yourself. You will also notice the square coastal line in the central southern coast which is clearly a product of land reclamation.
