How Big is Fallout: New Vegas?
One of the great joys (and successes) of Fallout 3 was the sheer sense of scale we got from wandering the wastes of Washington D.C. There were literally hundreds of locations, characters, random events, and easter eggs to discover along the way. The desire to see what was over that next crest, to keep wandering just a little bit longer, continuously got us into trouble. Literally, we never ran out of things to do in Fallout 3, and that is exactly what a great RPG should be about. With the upcoming release of Fallout: New Vegas, we couldn’t be more excited. Here’s another post-apocalyptic desert to explore, this one steeped in the mythology of one of America’s great icons of decadence. We expect a lot of cognitive dissonance on display as the veneer of glitz and excess on the Vegas strip is revealed for the bankrupt cesspool that it has become.
