How big is College of DuPage?
College of DuPage is the largest single-campus community college outside the state of California. In terms of exact numbers of students, at COD headcount is always an unduplicated enrollment count that measures how many students are enrolled for a specific period of time. For fiscal year 2010, our 10th day total headcount for all three terms (summer 2009, fall 2009 and spring 2010) was 62,555, of which 47,915 were credit and 14,640 were non-credit students. Full-time equivalent students (FTEs) is a measure defined by the Illinois Community College Board as is the number of credit hours generated by an institution divided by 15 (a full-time load). For fiscal year 2010, the total 10th day FTE count was 37,620 with the following distribution: 5,595 summer, 16,036 fall and 15,989 spring.
