How big is Chinese population?
There are 1.2 billion people in The People’s Republic of China, 5.5 million in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and 21 million in Taiwan Republic of China. China consists of multiracial population, of which 94% are Han Chinese and the remaining 6% belong to some 60 minorities such as Huis, Mongels, Tibetans, Uygurs, Zhuangs, Yis, Miaos, Manchus, Puis and Koreans. Some minorities even have their own written languages.
