I just answered the same question you just asked a few minutes ago: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;… Jumbos are adults, and all the smaller ones are babies. They will eventually grow to the “jumbo” adult size. There is not exact size but they are generally 9-11 inches. If you want a smaller rat, go for females because males can be twice the size. “Jumbos” and all those names are creative names for the sizes of feeder rats at Pet Stores. Feeder rats are usually not the best choice of pet becasue they are breed to be food.
