How big do f1 carp get ant wot is the mix of breed?
As someone pointed out they’re a cross of common and crucian carp, they’ve been put in several commercial fisheries however, as yet no one is exactly sure of what size they will attain some waters are showing 6/7lb fish and still not completed there growth, the whole idea was for them to be below 10lb so the fishery stayed as a match fishing venue rather than ending up with 15/20lb fish. They’ve also introduced F2’s in several places these are crucian + ghost carp crosses again they’ve not been in the waters long enough to see what size they can attain. One suspects that the results will be mixed with some attaining something to the potential of both lines, and further breedings will eventually put the fish in the bracket required.
