How big can ticks get?
I am not sure which type of tick you are most curious about, but my dog has had a few wood ticks on him. They are pretty common in the Midwest. They get really large when they get “engorged.” They feed until they can’t eat anymore. This led one to be a little larger than a raisin on my dog. The longer they feed… the larger they get. They also can turn grayish pale when they are engorged. Hope this helps.
