A. Safe limits: 2G per partition (or 4G, but there’s a catch), 4G per drive. FFS can use partitions up to 4G in size, but some utilities will show partition sizes larger than 2G as negative values. If you’re lucky, that’s the only problem you’ll have. If you must, there are some other options: Beta FFS filesystem from Amiga International: http://www.amiga.de/files/index.html. giga.device: (device driver) disk/misc/giga171.lha on Aminet. Guru-ROM: (replacement ROM for GVP and A2091 controllers) Support for drives larger than 4G. Available from Cronus.
